Whitley Wood

History
The church began in the early 1990s when a small group of evangelical Christians of like mind began to worship together in a home in Shinfield.
A burden for an
evangelistic Sunday School ministry led to the formation of a
meeting for children of Whitley Wood and the surrounding areas every
Sunday morning. This Sunday School met in the Community Centre at
Copenhagen Close.
Adult meetings were initially held in a home until the
Community Centre
became
available for an evening Gospel Service.
The church was formally constituted in 1994.
