Friday Club
This takes place every Friday evening from 6.45 pm onwards. This is only for those children who come to Sunday School regularly and is seen as an extra 'treat'.
There are four groups, the Younger group (Reception to Year 2), the Middle group (Years 3 to 6) and the Senior groups (Secondary - boys and girls).
The meeting consists of a variety of fun activities. For example playing snooker, table tennis, craft activities and team challenge evenings. There is the occasional cooking night for the brave! There is an informal talk at the end of each meeting where one of the leaders speaks on a term topic. Recent term topics have included Animals of the Bible and Kings, Queens and Nobles who were Christians.
During the summer months there are regular outings to the park to play team games and an end of term barbecue evening.
The children and young people enjoy the Friday Club evenings and the variety of the events.
