FAQs - AnswersTo be an evangelistic church is
to be a church committed to carrying out the great commission given by the Lord
to the Apostles to go out into all the world and preach the Gospel to every
person (see Matthew 28 v 19, 20; Mark 16 v 15). The 'evangel' is the Gospel or
good news of salvation in Christ and truly evangelical churches are those
engaged in the regular proclamation of this word of life and hope. In practice
for us, this means we hold a specifically designated Gospel service each Lord's
Day evening when the way of salvation is explained from a verse or passage of
the Bible.
